Wow, this tiny Xbee 900 rf module is supposed to have a range of 15 miles. We all know that these specs are always best case scenarios that are not attainable in the real world but it probably means that we could get 9 or 10 miles out of it.

MSI has added another tiny PC to their growing range of Nettop’s and Netbooks, the MSI C120 Nettop PC. The MSI C120 features an Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, there is also two front USB 2.0 ports and a 4-in-1 card reader.

This isn’t quite exactly what I pictured for a wrist computer, but it’s a start I suppose. It looks more like a blood pressure machine that you’d see at Wal-Mart. The Zypad WR1100 is a 23 ounce, rugged, wireless computer operating with a Linux OS.

Thanks to Scott Amron for sending us a few of these cool Endo Magnet Clips to have a look at. It’s the strongest fridge magnet I have ever used. The design is cool since you don’t have to pry it off the item it’s holding, simply press the top and it rocks the bottom out of the way.

Plastic has be given Wolverine-like self-healing capabilities thanks to the work of Biswajit Ghost and Marek Urban, material scientists from the University of Southern Mississippi. The scientists have created a new polymer that can repair itself when scratched using UV light from the sun.
