This shock absorber is capable of generating electricity when a car moves over bumps. It works by hydraulic fluid passing through a turbine. When the fluid passes through the turbine (when the shock reacts to bumps in the road) the turbine turns a small generator and more power is created.

BenQ has rolled out two nScreen all-in-one PCs namely the i91 and i221. The i91 comes with 18.5-inch widescreen joined by the i221 with 21.5-inch widescreen, both feature 16:9 aspect ratio displays and a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam.

I bought a new MacBook. I couldn’t help it. Three days spent in and out of the press room at the MWC in Barcelona meant three days of seeing the tiny 13” package over and over (these unibody MacBooks seem to be popular). Worse, I was seeing the svelte new carcass alongside my old-model MacBook Pro.

That’s right! RAmos has announced the RAmos T9 iMovie 2, which is a successor to the previously released RAmos iMovie T8 PMP. The gadget comes in a polished aluminum and features a 4.3-inch (800 × 480) capacitive touchscreen. The player retails for 899 Yuan or about $132 for the 16GB.

This impressive hack by IDEO labs makes a 67-inch rear-projection TV into a multi-touch display. They’ve mounted IR cameras into the TV and added laser projectors to the corners of the display, which are interrupted by your fingers and detected by the cameras.
