The M20 PMP by Chinese MP4 player manufacturer Chuwi has recently been announced. The new PMP features a 4.3-inch LCD display with a 480 × 272 pixel resolution. The portable media player is still in the making but we got word that the player will support 720p.

Yes, it’s funny, but it’s also a very good idea. Remote controls are among the worst-designed pieces of technology we have to deal with these days. They’re being replaced, somehow, but even more complicated controllers, but one of these days we’ll get it right.

Chinese gadget manufacturer Gemei has introduced the Gemei HD-660 that plays 720p HD. Measuring only 123mm x 76mm x 15mm and weighing at 147grams, the player is compatible with JPG, BMP, and PNG picture files, RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV and MPEG video files, and MP3, WMA, FLAC audio files.
