We're digging Wallpaper's Interactive Floorplans section, which lets you take peeks inside/outside structures like the Column and Slab House in Tokyo, Michael P. Johnson's Ellsworth Residence in Arizona, Stuttgart's new Porsche Museum (pictured above) and a couple dozen others.

Samsung N310 Netbook

Samsung has added another netbook to it range to compliment the already popular Samsung NC20 and NC10, this new model is called the N310. The Samsung N310 will come with an Intel Atom processor, a 10.1 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 576, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.

Verizon Wireless have announced the Nokia 7205 Intrigue, a slimline clamshell handset with a 2-megapixel camera, A2DP stereo Bluetooth and V CAST Music with Rhapsody support.  The 7205 Intrigue measures just 0.55-inches thick and has a hidden external display.

This Desktop Energy Seed Lamp is interesting. It uses old batteries as a power source. All of the batteries are put in parallel using two large metal plates and a jewel thief circuit (I prefer the rusty nail implementation though) is used to create the larger voltage needed to power the LED circuit.

If you're looking for a fat portable hard drive, Fujitsu's 500GB HD5 hits the spot. A simple black slab, it's pretty enough, but quiet operation is more important, and it didn't irritate. Read-write speeds hit 20-25MBps (xbench results), and it ran just fine from the USB port.
