This has to make Apple execs happy. A presentation at Google’s thinkmobile event by Mary Meeker, former Wall St. analyst now at Kleiner Perkins, showed just how monstrous the iPad’s numbers are compared to its older siblings the iPod and iPhone.

The guys at Future Games of London have just released Hungry Shark 3 for iPhone. The Hungry Shark series is one of my favorite games for iOS (you can read my review of Hungry Shark Trilogy for iPad here). Hungry Shark 3 pits Hungry Shark against shark finners, mad scientists, and leaking oil rigs.

Sharkoon announced a new chassis known as the Scorpio that allows SSDs and 2.5-inch hard drives to be used without any special adapter frames. The case has support for a total of six 3.5 inch drives. Two of these bays feature a Fast Swap Mechanism directly on the housing front.

We’ve been hearing “iPhone Nano” rumors for a long time. In 2007, 2008, 2009, though strangely not 2010, we heard from suppliers, case makers, tipsters, sources, and so on that there’d be a new, smaller iPhone out there soon, but it has never materialized.

A network fully dedicated to broadcasting 3D TV signals will launch on February 13. Called 3net, it will be offered by DirecTV on channel 107 and is a joint venture between Sony, Discovery Communications and IMAX.

A tentative rumor Thursday night hinted Microsoft might widen its Windows Phone 7 hardware requirements next week at Mobile World Congress. The specs weren't detailed but are believed to include newer, second-generation Snapdragon MSM7x30 processors like that in the Android-based T-Mobile G2.
