Boston Developing “Street Bump” App to Report All Potholes in Real Time

The city of Boston is developing an app – first of all, I didn’t realize cities developed apps, and that seems pretty neat. Second, this app is called “Street Bump” for Android smartphones and it’ll be reporting every pothole in the city as they’re hit.

Hitachi has unveiled a new 4.5-inch IPS LCD for smartphones, which is better the Apple’s Retina display. The new Hitachi LED-backlit LCD has a super large 1280 x 720 pixel resolution with a 329 pixel-per-inch density and a 1,100:1 contrast ratio.

Borders' financial troubles in the e-book era could come to a head early next week after a leak has revealed it's close to bankruptcy. The bookseller is now believed to be filing a non-permanent Chapter 11 bankruptcy as soon as Monday or Tuesday.
