Review: Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300

MacNN has reviewed the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300, a semi-portable, sheet-fed document scanner. It can scan up to 600 dpi and do duplex color scanning, with automatic document feeds and page size detection. It also corrects skewed paper feeds and can output to PDF or JPG.

T-Mobile is using its Facebook page to say that it's offering the entry-level Nokia X2 messaging phone to its prepaid customers. It has a hardware QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4-inch, 320x240 display; its key edge over some phones in the class is a social networking widget on the home screen....

European cell carrier Orange said on Wednesday that it disapproved of what it calls a closed mobile system from the recent Nokia-Microsoft tie-up. Chief marketer Jean-Paul Cottet said providers prefer to offer open systems that give its customers choice.
