Apple is warning at least some people replacing custom MacBook Pros about extended wait times, says AppleInsider. Representatives are reportedly quoting 4 to 6 weeks as an average replacement time, but in extreme cases the wait may be as much as 8 weeks.

Alcatel-Lucent said on Tuesday its new lightRadio cellular hardware will double the capacity of cell sites while shrinking their size and halving the cost. The towers also require huts at their base that house antennas, and lose efficiency by moving the signal using the tower's wires.

Verizon's LG Revolution should be the first phone in the US to support Voice over LTE (VoLTE), the carrier's ecosystem development executive lead Brian Higgins said Tuesday. The device will be part of a larger rollout for voice on 4G across the network due to start in earnest in mid-year.
