A contraption called the Hook and Go, "the smart cart for the urban shopper," seems like a good idea as gets rid of the "cart part, folds into a compact shape, and will hold 70 pounds of hanging bags when unfurled. I say "seems" because although it was invented in 2007, I've yet to see one.
