The external drive dock allows you to connect up your old harddrives to your computer temporarily. Once docked, the drive appears as a removable drive in Windows, Mac OS and Linux. Connecting the external USB SATA drive dock to your PC is done by either a USB cable or an eSATA connector.

A few of these devices have cropped up, but this toaster like device seems particularly well designed. I will be buying one myself.
