Transcend has rolled out its latest slim portable DVD writer called the TS8XDVDRW. Targeted towards netbook users who are always on the move, the drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface and provides maximum write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R/+R and 24x for CD-R/-RW.
