The Sony NEX-3 and Sony NEX-5 digital cameras were unveiled a couple of weeks back. Each of the cameras use the APS-C format.The Sony NEX-3 and NEX-5 bring the power of a digital SLR camera and mix that in to a smaller case closer to the size of a point and shoot camera.
