Sony announced their DVDirect VDR-MC6 today which is set to replace the VDR-MC5 DVD recorder. This new model allows the transfer of SD and HD videos and photos from your camera to DVDs directly. No PC needed. The new model is also smaller but has a bigger LCD screen that measures in at 2.7-inches.
