Microsoft [MSFT] has banned Xbox 360 owners from Xbox Live who are using modified consoles. The modified consoles can be used to play pirated games, and it looks like as many as 600,000 Xbox 360 owners have been banned from the Xbox Live service, out of its 20 million users.
