Microsoft has a handful of brand new webcams in their LifeCam series, that are capable of 720p HD video. The HD-5000 and HD-6000 webcams are 30 fps cameras with auto focus and TrueColor technology. Naturally, they’re optimized for Windows Live, but hardly exclusively.
