LaCie today merged SSDs with flash drives in the FastKey. It uses the USB 3.0 interface to deliver transfer speeds as fast as 260MBps, or up to 100 times faster than average USB 2.0 drives. A mix of the interface, flash drive design and DRAM cache gives the drive its speed edge....
