Both Buffalo and Pioneer have introduced BDXL disc writers for the Japanese market. Buffalo will offer both a USB 2.0-powered external drive, the BRXL-6U2, and an internal BRXL-6FBS-BK model with a SATA interface, while Pioneer's BDR-206MBK is for internal use only.
