Looks like Huawei got the first Android 2.1 powerede smartphone for China. Dubbed Huawei C8600, the smartphone runs Android 2.1 and packs a 3.5-inch touchscreen display which support multitouch.

Looks like sales of Apple's new iPad tablet have been good--a little too good, actually, at least as far as the international gadget-buying audience is concerned. In a press release issued today, the company noted that it has delivered more than 500,000 iPads in the first week of sales.
