It actually hasn’t been that long since Lenovo promised us, and everyone else for that matter, that the U1 Hybrid and Skylight Smartbook featuring Skylight OS was still coming. Not that long at all.

Lenovo settled questions around its ultra-mobile PCs on Friday by planing a switch in OS for the Skylight smartbook and the IdeaPad U1 detachable tablet. The two will drop Lenovo's in-house Linux OS for Android in what's treated as a reaction to "market conditions and user feedback."

Who wants a 2-tuner DVR? Anyone? Arris doesn’t think so and is now only offering 3-tuner Moxi DVRs. The word is that customers have spoken and the response to the 3-tuner option has been so “favorable” that Arris is going with that option for every model.
