Sanyo on Friday announced a new addition to its Xacti digital cameras with the DMX-CA100. The new vertical design is waterproof at depths of 10 feet for up to one ahour and can record 1080p video in the computer-friendly H.264 format.

It turns out that my cable company will provide me with a wireless router for the duration of time I have service with them at no charge, as long as I pay them $9.95 shipping/handling. What they provide is a Netgear 802.11n, so I think I’ll be good to go!
