AT&T plans an even more ambitious launch for the iPhone 4 than for last year, if escaped release day plans remain intact. Stores will open at 7AM on June 24 for all customers, not just pre-orders as with last year.

We have seen a few robots made using the iPhone before here at Geeky Gadgets, I think is is possibly the first iPad robot we have seen. The Walking iPad robot was created by Terasaki-san, who has also created some cool iPhone robots in the past.

UK carrier Orange is the next to follow O2 and AT&T, axing unlimited data packages from their contract range from July 2010.  The move follows Orange exec Guillaume van Gaver’s comments back in March that “unlimited data packages are not ultimately sustainable.

David Hyman, the MOCpages user’s robotic hand with exoskeletal controller surely beats the Lego printer we saw other day. The very ambitious Lego robotic hand is controlled by a wrist mounted exoskeleton that has 3 rotation sensors and 2 touch sensors.

Take this with a huge grain of rumor salt, but a Chinese publication called Oriental Daily is reporting that Foxconn may be closing down its Chinese operations in the wake of all the employee suicides. We have been following this suicide story closely for a while now.
