And the hits just keep on coming. Of course, just on the heels of announcing when the Kinect would go on sale, Microsoft have officially announced that a new, smaller, and shinier version of their Xbox 360 is going on sale, too.

It’s slim, it’s black, and it’s Kinect compatible (whatever that means.) But will you shell out another $300 or so for the new model? I probably will, mostly because my XBoxen are all dead.

With all those rumors floating around, it’s good to finally get them to rest. On Monday, Microsoft officially announced that the motion-based controller, formerly known as Project Natal, and now known as Kinect, would be available in North America beginning on November 4th.

Here it is, the new Xbox 360. It’s a tad smaller, a whole lot more shinny, and overall a cleaner look — but no slim naming scheme. It comes with built in WiFi, 250 GB all for the same price. Oh, and the are shipping tomorrow.

Microsoft ended its E3 keynote in grand fashion on Monday as it unveiled a completely redesigned Xbox 360. The new model is significantly smaller, quieter and thinner with a 'kink' reminiscent of the X logo.

News Corp on Monday announced it has purchased the 3G-connected Skiff e-reader from Hearst and invested in Journalism Online, a venture meant to help online newspapers, magazines and publishers to collect revenue. The financial details of either transaction were not revealed.

Microsoft is outright paying iPhone developers to port apps to Windows Phone 7, one account of the process claimed today. The unnamed programmer said he was offered immediate money to convert games. How much wasn't mentioned; it was "substantial" but not enough to lure over PocketGamer's source...

AT&T will only be offering black iPhone 4s at launch, and when it begins taking pre-orders tomorrow, a leaked memo suggests. The document mentions just two iPhone 4 SKUs for the above timeframes, differentiated by 16 or 32GB of storage.
