Sony has announced pricing and launch date details for its PlayStation Move controllers for the PlayStation 3. When the PlayStation move goes on sale there will be two controllers available, a motion controller and a smaller one handed navigation controller.

Nintendo, as promised, has teased the first details of the 3DS at its E3 keynote. The console superficially resembles the DSi but has a new, 3.5-inch top screen with glasses-free 3D; it not only adds depth to games but has a 3D effect slider to tone the effect down.

Computer sales will rebound so quickly this year that they should reach an all-time high, researchers at IDC estimated today. The year-over-year growth in sales should reach 19.8 percent, outweighing the slump in 2009, and could see 354.8 million computers ship worldwide.

A private telecommunications company has proposed adding Wi-Fi service to two New York City area train lines. Mobilitie, which operates the free Wi-Fi service NYFI, submitted the proposal to build a wireless network for the Metro North and Long Island Rail Road lines.
