PogoPlug just released its upgraded Android app. The app allows you to browse media and music on connected drives, share files publicly from drives, and search for files. You can also manage the folders on your connected drives. It is available in the app store now.

A creative user of the JooJoo tablet has successfully installed Mac OS X onto his device and shared his accomplishment on the JooJoo forum. The tablet is compatible with Snow Leopard as it's powered by an Intel Atom processor.

Navigon today showed a version of its Mobile Navigator app with iOS 4's multitasking fully built in. The version 1.6 app now won't stop tracking position when the user switches away to another app and will provide voiced guidance even when another app is in the foreground.

Motorola will put between $3 and $4 billion dollars into its cellphone business when it splits off in 2011 into a new company. This will be done after the company buys back most of its debt, according to a Friday Wall Street Journal report.

O2 announced earlier today that the iPhone 4 UK launch had been hit with a shortage of supplies. The company will now be selling iPhone 4's to existing customers only till the end of July when more supplies are expected to arrive.

Futurist and Blio founder Ray Kurzweil today criticized Apple for doing nothing to help e-books with the iPad. He insists that most e-reader devices and apps, including Apple’s, “destroy” any complex formatting and discourages complex text layouts, such as for children’s books or textbooks.

Apple said during its iPhone 4 keynote last week that 100 million iOS devices have already been sold, and that includes the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. As if that’s not enough, the iPhone itself is expected to hit nine digits by the end of 2011, a Wall Street analyst estimates.
