Nokia today reworked some of its rules and software to rekindle developer interest in the Ovi Store. The phone maker is responding to a long called for move is now letting individuals, rather than just companies, sign up as Ovi Publishers.

The iPhone 4 has a glass front and back panel and even though it’s constructed of chemically-strengthen Gorilla Glass, it’s not exact immune from scratches. It’s like a nice watch that has a sapphire glass crystal. It’s tough, but it will still scratch.

Not content to let Marvel have all the fun, DC Comics just released their iPad and Sony PSP apps. The apps allow for in-app comic purchase and download. Comics will cost $1 to $3 per issue. Free previews include Superman #700 and some stories from Batman: Black and White.

Apple sues HTC again to target more patents

Apple has expanded on its original lawsuit against HTC by suing it again for additional patent claims. In addition to two patents already included in the original complaint but re-submitted due to errors, two previously unmentioned patents have now been factored in.

The FCC today greenlit AT&T’s nearly $2.4 billion buyout of some Verizon wireless spectrum. A unanimous vote by all five commissioners ruled that the buyout, prompted by an FCC requirement that Verizon sell 79 of its frequency holdings after acquiring Alltel, didn’t pose a competitive risk.

Toshiba on Tuesday kickstarted a forum to produce an official standard for wireless flash memory cards. The group's format, developed with help from Trek 2000, would give all SD cards built-in Wi-Fi and let them upload or download photos without having to use a card reader.
