Cisco Announces the Cius, the BlackBerry of Tablets

Cisco announced this afternoon that in 2011 it will be launching an Android-based tablet, named the Cius, aimed squarely at the business market. Cisco has always been an enterprise-focused company, and the Cius is its shot at bringing businesses on board the tablet bandwagon.

UK e-tailer Play.com has posted the full public specs of the Kinect motion gaming accessory for the Xbox 360. There’s not a whole lot revealed, but it is stated very plainly that only two active players can be tracked at any given moment.

Cisco's rumored tablet was made real today as the company confirmed the Cius, its first tablet. The 7-inch slate works as a full Android tablet with apps, but it has an especially heavy focus on Cisco's videoconferencing features.

This is interesting. It seems that the dock that came with the original iPhone works great with the iPhone 4. In fact, it might work better than the new model molded specifically for the iPhone 4.

As you know the iPhone 4 is using the smaller ‘micro sim’ card and at least in Sweden it’s currently hard to get hold of these as iPhone (and iPad) are some of the first units that only can be used with the micro sim. But there’s a solution to that.
