Mad Catz outs Saitek-banded flight sim controllers

Gaming peripherals maker Saitek, owned by Mad Catz, has introduced three new add-ons to make PC flight simulator game experiences a lot more realistic. The controllers include the Throttle/Prop/Mixture axis TPM control panel, Backlit Information Panel (BIP, and the Combat Rudder Pedals.

Lot C0101 of the RedEye mini IR adapter for the iPhone and iPad have been recalled for structural issues. The plug can crack away from the case and cause problems. In fact, the plug is attached only with a small piece of adhesive tape, which reduces the total structural integrity to nil.

AT&T this morning tripled the size of its outdoor Wi-Fi hotspots. Beyond the Times Square access, it now has an access point in Charlotte, North Carolina that covers the area between the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza and East Trade Street. A Chicago-area coverage point is due in the "coming weeks."...

According to The Street, Roger Crenshaw, an “analyst,” suspects that Morotola will come out with a 10-inch tablet in November. Why? Who knows. What carrier? Don’t ask Crenshaw. However, clearly Moto needs to keep the Droid love coming and this seems like a good way to do it.

RIM's BlackBerry 9800 launch plans may have firmed up with leaks Sunday of scheduling. On AT&T, which may be one of the earliest launch partners, the phone would ship August 15. BlackBerry Cool also heard that it will reach Rogers and could even have a CDMA version for Sprint....
