Apple to sell iPhone 4 in Canada from $659 unlocked

Apple has quietly confirmed that it will sell the iPhone 4 unlocked in Canada. A carrier-independent version will start at $659 CAD ($639 US) for a 16GB model and scale to $779 CAD ($755 US) for a 32GB version.

Dell will soon replace the 11.6-inch Inspiron 11z with the Inspiron M101z. It comes powered by either a 1.7GHz single-core or 1.3GHz dual-core Athlon II Neo, unlike the outgoing 11z's 1.2GHz Celeron. It offers a 500GB hard drive, with Windows 7 pre-loaded and as much as 8GB of RAM....

LG has introduced its latest netbook this week, with the 10.1-inch X140. It is powered by a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470, giving it an edge in the netbook category. It uses Windows 7 Starter on its 320GB hard drive and has both 2GB of RAM and a 720p screen....

San Francisco Cellphone Radiation Law Unconstituional, Claims CTIA

San Francisco passed a new law last month that requires all retailers to display the amount of radiation a cellphone emits. Predictably, that law is now coming under fire from CTIA, the wireless industry group. CTIA has filed a lawsuit to block enforcement of the ordinance.
