Apple doesn’t expect Magic Trackpad to replace mice yet

Apple in remarks today said it didn't see the Magic Trackpad replacing mice in the near future. A spokesperson asserted that Apple wanted to provide a "choice" and that the new peripheral was a supplement, not necessarily a replacement.

Apple has added a new 27 inch LED Display to its range, previously the largest one available was a 24 inch model, and according to Apple the 27 inch LED cinema display features around 60 percent more pixels with a resolution of  2,560 by 1140 pixels.

I don’t always prefer searching my pocket for the phone each time I receive a call. Given the amount of calls I take in a day it often become tedious and annoying. Therefore, I always wished for a device that could let me see the caller ID and take a call without having to search for the phone.

Apple today announced an updated line of iMacs. The new series is the first to completely drop Core 2 Duo as an option, instead offering dual-core Core i3 or i5 at the lower end. Higher-end systems have a choice of quad-core Core i5 or i7.

During the World Cup, particularly during the England-Germany and Mexico-Argentina games, there was a lot of debate over the role of video replay in the sport. FIFA responded, in typical fashion, by banning video replay inside stadia.

SanDisk today brought out what it says is its smallest-ever USB flash drive. The Cruzer Blade is about as long as a paperclip but holds as much as 16GB of storage inside. It should be small enough overall to fit on a keychain without adding significant bulk....

Bloomberg: GM to price the Chevy Volt at “about” $40,000

GM is going live with the Chevy Volt‘s pricing today at Noon Eastern but Bloomberg apparently got word early from a source within GM. Apparently the price will be “about $40,000.” That means buyers will end up spending about $32,500 after the $7,500 tax credit is figured in.
