So what is this all about? Well the first planned watch from the new VicenTerra brand is the GMT-3. Large and tonneau cased, it will sport a steel case (not sure about the size) with a uniquely modified Swiss ETA 2892 automatic movement.

Along with the other announcement Panasonic made today, they also told us about a new lens for their LUMIX G camera. You’ll remember that the LUMIX G is their micro 4/3 line, of which we reviewed the G10 back in May.

Panasonic in a special evening launch trotted out two camcorders, one of which is a first for the entire company. The HM-TA1 is its venture into the Flip's home territory and immediately claims an edge with full-speed 1080p video.

NVIDIA has just announced its new line of Quadro graphics cards at SIGGRAPH in Los Angeles. The new line of cards will be known as the NVIDIA QuadroPlex series and will bring improvements as high as 5x for complex geometry or 3x in the Viewperf benchmark.

Accessory maker Kensington has released the Laptop Locking Station, a new anti-theft product. To secure a notebook, users must simply put an open computer in place and squeeze the lock's arm shut. To release, a key is turned in a side slot.

Sharp is demonstrating a chip that can control two displays of a single mobile device at the same time, with each panel capable of up to 1,024x480 resolution. The LR388G9 chip can also display a 1080p signal onto an external display connected over HDMI.

Google [GOOG] has updated Google Maps for Android bringing it up to version 4.4. The new version includes a dedicated Places icon for the home screen that allows you to quickly grab details of nearby places.
