Apparently, all those other robot designs have been wrong. It actually takes four legs to actually make it any kind of distance, or to stay up-right. This creation is called Ranger, and it just managed to break world record.

Panasonic has launched its new HM-TA1 Pocket-Sized Video Camera in addition to its HDC-SDX1 Ultra-Compact Full HD Camcorder. The Panasonic HM-TA1 can be used as a microphone and web camera for internet calling with programs such as Skype.

LG today warned that its mobile division swung hard towards a loss in the spring owing to its weakness in smartphones. It plunged from a roughly $620 million profit a year ago to a $101 million loss owing primarily to a lack of smartphones.

Cincinnati Bell has become the first US carrier to offer the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. The device supports 3G networks and has a SureType keyboard rather than a full QWERTY one, as is common with BlackBerry handsets. It also gets an optical touchpad rather than the older Pearl's trackball....

HTC's Benelux regional president Mark Moons today said that Android 2.2 (Froyo) would finally start reaching Sense UI-based phones as of Thursday. Starting with the Desire, the smartphone company will push out the upgrade to a first batch on July 29 and stagger it out to reach everyone.
