Section: Communications, Cellular Providers, Smartphones, Mobile The latest in the Droid 2 saga is now calling for an August 12th release. Sounds like good news, assuming it is true. Of course at this point that date should still be considered nothing more than rumor.

Clearwire has just released their iSpot portable Mifi device made exclusively for Apple devices and offering 4G connectivity. Even though Clearwire are aiming the device squarely at Apple users there doesn’t seem to be anything that set the Clearwire iSpot apart from the Mifi crowd.

Filed under: Software, How-tos When iLife '08 and '09 came out, I was pretty happy about all of the new bells and whistles -- except for iMovie, that is. As much as I wanted to like the completely revamped iMovie, to me it was as tasty as "New Coke" when compared to Coca-Cola Classic.

Sony has re-released version 3.41 of the latest firmware for the Sony PlayStation 3. The older 3.41 update launched recently and actually caused a problem for those upgrading the hard drive on their PS3 unit.Some minor changes have been made to the 3.41 firmware to eradicate the problem.

It was revealed this week that the iPhone 4 jailbreak uses an exploit found in the PDF code. When a web browser opens a PDF file, it allows code to be injected and executed which in turn, allows the jailbreak to happen.
