This is pretty insane. A woman in Atlanta was the victim of a burglary, during which she was tied to her bed as the robber made off with her valuables and car (2009 Acura TSX, BGU-8496 if you see it call the po).

Google chief Eric Schmidt at the Techonomy conference revealed that his company is now activating 200,000 Android phones a day. The tally is 25 percent higher than the 160,000 per day in late June and is double the 100,000 phones that were being switched on just three months ago.

Dish Network has said it will soon let subscribers watch its satellite TV programs on their mobile devices for free. The functionality will arrive for the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and BlackBerry smartphones in September and on Android-powered phones in October.

There’s not much to say here that a quick glance at the picture doesn’t explain. It’s a little, bendable wire structure that supports your notebook. Portability is the main selling point, but it could just as easily work on your desk. Clever. $7.95 for a two pack.
