We've been on a Pomodoro kick lately here in the TUAW offices. While Steve was ultimately disappointed with The Amazing Mechanical Pomodoro for iPhone and iPod touch, I've quite enjoyed using Pomodoro Desktop for the Mac.

The upcoming BlackPad tablet from RIM will purportedly be manufactured by Taiwan's Quanta Computer. Digitimes reports that the device will be powered by Android, though this is unlikely as RIM has always used its proprietary operating systems.

HTC's first Windows Phone 7 device, the Schubert, has finally been seen in a leak including a video (seen below). The smartphone has a unibody aluminum design like the Legend but with large, stylized plastic on the back for the antennas.

The iPad is almost perfect for viewing comic-books, which is why it’s odd that there still isn’t a perfect comic-book reading app for the tablet. I have tried pretty much all of them, and have settled on the full-featured ComicZeal, despite some shortcomings.
