Eurocom Panther 2 notebook touts dual GTX 480M, 5870 option

Gaming PC maker Eurocom has introduced a new 17.3-inch Panther 2.0 gaming notebook that is unique in offering both SLI and CrossFire capable graphics options. Choices include two ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870s, two GeForce GTX 480Ms or single NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800M and Quadro FX 5000M GPUs.

I like the idea with the BookBook case from TwelveSouth and it looks very nice at a first glance but there are a few things that I think they should improve. First of all I think it’s a bit too thick for my taste.

Somehow I think there's an easier way for a FedEx employee to steal electronic goods. Last week, a California FedEx driver was held at gunpoint by four masked men, forced to hand over his delivery truck's shipments.

The highly popular PS3 Slim is getting the inevitable variations, and they actually seem like pretty good deals to me. We heard about the 320GB Move bundle going for $400 a few weeks ago, but the rumors were off by a bit on the cheaper version.

Vimeo today gave owners of iPads, iPhones and future Android devices the option of viewing most of its video in an HTML5 embedded player. The new approach automatically switches between Flash and HTML5 and will automatically switch to the appropriate format depending on the device and software.

I love the camera on the iPhone 4, but I've always disliked digital zoom and do whatever I can to avoid using it. Photojojo has responded to my inner camera snob with two glass lenses that can be attached to the phone via a magnetic ring.

BioWare has released the debut trailer of Dragon Age 2. If we were to subtitle the trailer and/or game, I’d go with “Dragon Age 2: There, Is That Enough Attitude For Ya?” The game comes out on March 8, 2011.

Sony used the Gamescom expo today to bring its 160GB and 320GB PS3 systems to the US. Both are direct replacements for the 120GB and 250GB consoles and use the same slim design as before, although they will ship only in black where their Japanese counterparts have a white option.

Spiralbrain is building a cool robot that can see what is around it by using IR. The robot base is a RP5 Tracked Chassis which looks to be quite a versatile robotic platform.
