Intel to ship 3.46GHz six-core i7 in early 2011

Intel has reportedly set a launch time-frame for its flagship Extreme Edition CPU, the Core i7 990X. The six-core chip is based on the company's Gulftown architecture, which is shared with the 980X.

SmartDevices has recently showed off their newest Android MID ‘SmartQ V3′ for the mass market. Specs-wise, the device packs a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen display, a 600MHz ARM11 processor, a 256MB DDR2, a USB OTG port, a mini-HDMI port and runs on Android 2.1 OS.

Some preliminary, unofficial specs of the Nokia N9 smartphone have been leaked thanks to NokNok. The aluminum-bodied MeeGo device will purportedly get a four-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 800x480 -- up from 640x360 on most Nokia phones -- and will be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon.
