Samsung's Galaxy Tab has been spotted again in China with design choices lifted directly from the iPad. The Android tablet's browser is directly patterned after Apple's, including the page management feature, while the on-screen keyboard is also somewhat similar.

Iomega will soon release upgraded eGo USB 3.0 portable hard drives. Sporting an interface that's about 10 times faster than the older USB 2.0 standard, the drives are rare as they won't cost any more than their older, slower counterparts.

A curious Apple patent has been filed that suggests a possible Dual Mode iMac Touch device could be on its way or at least under development. As you can see below the Apple patent suggest a touch screen iMac desktop computer combined with a tablet style interface on the screen.

I'm not quite 100% sure what this is -- it's supposed to be a "floating forecaster," some sort of 3D display for weather information, but to me it looks more like 30 air guns with ping pong balls sitting in them.

Sony has added a number of new digital SLR cameras to the Alpha range. Two of these new camera include the Sony a560 and the a580 which both come with a 3D sweep panorama feature. Each camera is capable of capturing HD video at 1080i and 29.97 frames per second.

Following the fashion towards fast prime glass, Sony has announced a trio of new Alpha lenses: a 24mm ƒ2, 35mm ƒ1.8 and an 85mm ƒ2.8. All of these (apart from the $1,250 24mm) are bargains, showing just how much simpler is a fixed focal-length design than a zoom. The 24mm is pricier for a reason.

Sony has launched four new camera to its range the two mentioned here are the Sony A560 and A580 that both shoot 1080i video at 29.97fps, with the A580 featuring 16.2MP and A560 14.2MP. Together with the ability to take photographs using the new Sony 3D Sweep Panorama feature.
