The Tablet Dune has been revealed. This tablet is a Windows 7 Slate that has been spotted over in Belgium. Technical specs reveal that it has a 10.2 inch screen (no details of resolution are known yet), and that it runs on an Intel Atom N450 processor that is clocked at 1.67Ghz.

We aren’t new to the concept of electronic nose, but because that wasn’t considered a tech enough for robots, a bioengineer Shoji Takeuchi of the University of Tokyo has genetically modified frog eggs to create a highly accurate nose (sensor) to figure out smells and gases.

I bet there are a lot of you that had a View-Master growing up and you might have even had a 3D one if you were lucky. One DIY type has taken his old View-Master and hacked it to use a pair of small LCDs from a couple cheap keychain photo frames.

There is an app for everything on the App Store for the iPhone. One of the apps is the iCam app that lets the user monitor their home or office remotely using the iPhone. One Dallas, Texas man received a message from the app that the motion sensors in his home had been tripped while on vacation.

JVC has announced a couple of pocket sized HD camcorders. The two new models fall in the JVC Picsio range and are called the GC-WP10 and the GC-FM2. Each of the cameras is capable of capturing HD video up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
