Elecom will release their first USB 3.0 hub in September 2010. Available in both white and black, the Elecom U3H-S410 comes with four USB ports and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time.

Wirefly released new that it will be selling a number of HTC EVO 4G phones to Facebook fans today. The new Evo wont be available to purchase on the Wirefly site, only from Wirefly’s Facebook page, to customers that have clicked the ‘Like’ button.

Exactly one week ago, Canon unveiled a pretty impressive 120 megapixel sensor, and today the company followed up with the announcement of “the world’s largest” CMOS sensor. Sized at 202 x 205 mm, the new sensor is 40 times bigger than the Canon CMOS sensors out there now.

This morning Canon has released details of its latest CMOS creation. That takes first place as the worlds largest CMOS sensor measuring 202 x 205 mm or 7.95 x 8.07 inches. Making it about 40 times larger than the standard CMOS sensors you would find in a high street 35mm full frame CMOS sensor.

Philips has officially confirmed that the GoGear Connect Android-based PMP will be making its official debut at IFA 2010 this week.  The 3.2-inch touchscreen media player has WiFi, a camera and access to the Android Market, but Philips has also included its FullSound DSP to boost audio quality.
