One of the big conflicts in battery tech right now is how to keep the things at the right temperature. Nissan and Mitsubishi are going with air cooling, while Tesla, Chevy, and as of today Ford are all opting for liquid temperature regulation.

We got an email today from Zachary at Stupid Inventor. He’s come up with a.. unique idea for taking your gaming experience outside. Apparently Zach took an old lawn chair that his mom had lying around, and attached a computer and monitor to it.

I can’t say the Folio 100 tablet, which we saw leaked a week back, is really making much of an impression on me: a customized Android 2.2 tablet running on a Tegra 2 with a 10.1″ screen — sure, not bad, but it’s not exactly original, and the price (€399, or around $500)...

A scoop this afternoon has reiterated that Google Music is on track for the end of the year but is also facing difficulty. The search engine's Android head Andy Rubin has been talking to labels with hopes of a launch before the holidays, but none of them have so far agreed to a deal.

Here's a quick tip for iTunes that puzzled a few of us this morning: once you've gone ahead and set up Ping in iTunes 10, how do you 'like' a song instead of an album? The albums have those handy thumbs-up buttons, but it's not as obvious for songs.
