Panasonic speeds up Toughbook F5, N9 and S9 in Japan

Panasonic today boosted the base specifications of its Japanese Toughbook F5, N9 and S9 range to include the 2.66GHz Core i5 560M as standard across the range. A faster 2.8GHz Core i7 640M will also be a build-to-order option, as is the option to boost the RAM from 4GB to 8GB.

We find using “heavy duty” to describe Coolermaster’s HAF 912 quite fitting. A mere glance at its solid exterior suggests chunks of body armor were plastered on this monster to catch the eye of susceptible gamers looking for a good build. Coolermaster’s isn’t modest in hyping it either.

Four hours ago I picked up one of these for my home theater PC (HTPC). I ended up testing it out on my laptop. So far I’m really pleased with it. In fact, I haven’t tried it out on my HTPC yet because I’m enjoying so much on my notebook. I chose this keyboard because I’m a ‘track ball guy’.

Toshiba's UK wing today finally started taking orders for its first Android device, the AC100. Its smartbook unveiled in June is available in its Wi-Fi-only version for £293 ($451). The core model ships with 8GB of storage, although Toshiba's site incorrectly mentions 128GB....

Toshiba has announced two new memory card series at the IFA in Berlin, they are the SDHC UHS-I and microSDHC UHS-I Memory Cards. The new SDHC UHS-I cards offers up to 95MB/s read and 80MB/s write speed while the microSDHC UHS-I has 40MB/s read and 20MB/s write speeds.
