Boxee Box switches from Tegra 2 to Atom, up for pre-sale

Boxee on Monday revealed that it's switching the Boxee Box away from the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform to Intel's Atom CE4100 processor. The switch was described to Electronista as a form of future proofing; the company wants to guarantee 1080p HD streaming for the future as well as today, Boxee said.

Panasonic today provided the first solid launch details for the first Micro Four Thirds camcorder. Called the AF105 in Japan, the previously revealed AF100 is due to reach its home country in December for the equivalent of $9,974 for a body-only version.

Mitsubishi Electric said over the weekend that it will release the first modular OLED display later this month. The display, dubbed Diamond Vision OLED, will be sold in sizes of 100 inches at a minimum and meant for indoor use.
