ViewSonic is on a roll with their tablet creations. Having just seen the ViewSonic ViewPad at this year’s IFA, and noticing that it dual-boots Windows and Android, we’re shocked to see that this other 10-inch display tablet isn’t that.

Sony today unveiled a prototype flexible monochromatic e-paper display at is annual Japanese dealer convention. Typically, e-paper uses a glass substrate, but Sony has developed a plastic substrate to give the display the ability to bend.

Microsoft today said it had finished the official Windows Phone 7 development toolkit and showed apps due to reach the platform from Netflix, Seesmic, Twitter and others. The update is minor but will be needed to submit apps to the official version of the Windows Phone Marketplace.

So it's almost six months after the iPad's US release -- and there are still no iPad refurbs in the Apple Store. At a time when AT&T is already selling refurb iPhone 4's, which just debuted this Summer, iPad refurbs are noticeably absent from normal retail channels.
