Apple late Sunday virtually confirmed its impending MacBook Pro update through shipping delays on the US Apple Store. All MacBook Pro models now won't ship for 3-5 business days where they had normally been shipping in 24 hours.

Samsung late Sunday said it had developed a new type of mobile memory with ultra-wide bandwidth for smartphones and tablets. The LPDDR2 (Low Power Double Data Rate 2) RAM increases the bandwidth simply by increasing the number of pins on the chip 16 times larger from 32 to 512.

Google finished the week by posting a initial SDK for its long promised Native Client. The kit will let developers put native C and C++ apps into a Chrome browser feature that supports many of the features of stand-alone apps, including 3D, multi-core processor support and direct memory access.
