Samsung has announced that it is now mass-producing 40nm-class 8GB DDR3 RAM modules for notebooks. The new RAM is in the form of SoDIMM modules and is being made in UDIMM modules as well.

We have seen a couple of videos of the HTC Desire HD in action, with its new Sense UI, now the guys over at the XDA developers forum have managed to port the HTC Desire HD ROM over to the HTC Desire, the Droid Incredible and the EVO 4G.

Yesterday the Facebook website went offline without warning for around 2.5 hours. Facebook has now released a detailed explanation of the reason why. Facebook explains that the major cause of the outage was due to ‘an unfortunate handling of an error condition.
