Timur Civan is a director of photography for movies, and a photographer. He’s also a tinkerer, and he got his hands on an old Wollensak 35mm F5.0 Cine-Velostigmat, a hand cranked movie-camera lens from 1908. You see it above, wedded to his Canon 5D MkII. But where did it come from?

Apple announced the refreshed Apple TV just a few weeks back and immediately starting taking pre-orders. However, something is now amuck. The Apple TV product page always listed September as the ship date, but now it says 2-3 week, which puts it in October.

Canadian telecommunications provider Videotron has just introduced the country's fastest Internet service with its Ultimate Speed Internet 120. The plan uses DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem tech to reach 120Mbps download speeds and 20Mbps upload speeds, in many cases beating current fiber.

As we've seen before, Apple is laying claim to the word "pod." This time, the target is Sector Labs (SL), who are nearly 10 years into development of their Video Pod. More accurately, Apple believes that customers will confuse SL's Video Pod for an Apple product because of the name.
