I'll be honest -- I heard that Aftermath was a zombie game and almost gave up on it. I wouldn't be offended if you did the same, since lots of developers (especially iPhone developers) are depending a little too much on zombies for their gameplay.

Every year, the Interbike show in Las Vegas brings new and updated products from the big bike-makers. It also has lots of weird niche bikes, which are probably a lot more interesting. And you can’t get much more niche than polo bike designed for travel. This is the Joust, from Fleetvelo.

Sharp is to launch a couple of e-Reader tablet devices later this year. They will be both called the Sharp Galapagos and will come in two versions one of which will have a 5.5 inch screen and a 1024 x 600 pixel display.

Intel has unveiled new updates to its pricing list for mobile processors and includes two Core i5 mobile chips for laptops: the i5-580M and the i5-560M. The 2.66Hz i5-580M (3M L2 cache, two cores, four threads) is priced at $266, while the i5-560M (same clock speed) is priced at $225.

Marantz has unveiled three new AV receivers that all use much of the same tech and features. The new receivers all share features like Bluetooth, HDMI 1.4, and a fold up front panel. The SR7005 sells for $1,599, the SR6005 is $999, and the SR5005 is $799.

Sharp has entered the tablet and e-book reader market by introducing the new Galapagos series in Tokyo, Japan. The first one is the Galapagos “mobile type” that has a 5.5-inch LCD screen (1,024 × 600 resolution) that’s optimized for displaying paperback books. Available in red and black.
