Acer upgrades TimelineX ultraportables to 1.46GHz Core i7

Acer on Monday upgraded its lineup of Aspire TimelineX notebooks with Intel's latest Core-series CPUs. The new 11.6-inch 1830T range-topper has a 1.46GHz Core i7 680UM, while the 13.3-inch 3820T, 14-inch 4820T and the 15.6-inch 5820T get the newest Core i3 and Core i5 processors.

This is RuBot II. Learn his name, you will be working for him some day--if you're lucky. RuBot II can solve a Rubik's Cube. Really, really fast. He can do the thing in under 23 seconds. Not bad, considering that the standard cube has some 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 permutations.

According to the Leichtman Research Group, 40% of American TV households have DVRs, up 8% from five years ago. 64% of these have used Video-on-Demand services while 83% have watched an on-demand program this month. Don’t think we’re living in a world of DVRs, though.
