Fring just released an update for Android that brings FringOut to the service. FringOut for Android lands at the same time as Skype for Android which indicates some battle between them is starting.Prices for calls in the US start at 1c/min which matches Skype.

Samsung today signaled that it had sold five million Galaxy S phones since they went on sale during the summer. The numbers have been dominated by the US, which accelerated its early sales rate to reach its second million in a month.

AT&T committed to Android in a major fashion this morning by picking up three Motorola phones, all running Android 2.1 with the newest Motoblur layer. The Bravo is the highest-end of the three with an 800MHz OMAP 3610 processor, a 3.7-inch 854x480 touchscreen and a three-megapixel camera.

North Koreans Have a GPS Jammer

North Korea is apparently active jamming GPS signals using truck-mounted systems that overrun signals coming from Russian tracking satellites. South Korea is unable to pinpoint the locations of these jammers because the Army runs them for about ten minutes at a time and then moves them.
