Intel this evening reported its best ever quarter. In spite of warnings of a slowdown, its revenue reached an all-time high of $11.1 billion. Its operating income reached a similar high of $4.1 billion, although its net income was a more modest $3 billion….

Sony tonight is holding its Google TV introduction in New York City. The electronics giant is expected to launch the Bravia GT1 as the first TV with the OS built-in as well as a Blu-ray player or other set-top box with Google TV built in.

Motorola is the latest company to file a patent lawsuit against Apple, suggesting in court that Apple has infringed on proprietary Motorola technologies in its mobile devices. Motorola itself filed papers about 18 different infringements.

Once upon a time, Delicious Library was available for the iPhone, and it was quickly yanked from the App Store due to infringing upon Amazon's API TOS. I learned all of this after recently purchasing the fantastic OS X application, and then wondering why it didn't have an accompanying iPhone app.

HP's upcoming Palm Pre 2 just received further confirmation today through a set of live images that confirm its existence. The design spotted by MobiFrance is superficially similar but appears to have a larger screen and several improvements to its design and build quality.
